Breath life: My kids explain me as a high on life mom who is always happy. If they only knew the thoughts in my head. Kids are only supposed to experience the joys and discipline of mom and dad, not the adult issues and hard things parent's face. Why do some drag their kids through their hard times with them?: Life was not roses when my kids were little and we struggled. I let them in on why they couldn't have the toy but I'd never let them in on why mom pretended to eat, when there was only enough for the three of them. Resentment: Children are such a miracle although some parents think their children 'owe' them for just being parents....it amazes me! Every breath, every smile, every look to you to lead is such a blessing. Put down the cell phone, computer, TV remote or game controller and look into your child's or grandchild's eyes.....to show them you care. Many adults 'say' they care but it's lip service for some understood by the smallest of children. Please, please, please know the miracle in your reach.
So back to breath life- do you breath life into the people around you or do you leave them with anger, trial and frustration? Look deep into who you are and what you bring....I was a victim for a long time until I decided to 'get over myself' in 1998. Now I breath life even when I have no breath left to give. My life has been hard and it was hard to change - I had to START with me...before I could help anyone else.
My cousin, Shari shared a poem with me where the words came pouring out of her heart. She is so talented with her music, with her words, with her band. She loves with a whole heart 24/7 and I wish for one moment she saw a glimpse of how beautiful she is every day!
