During the times in my life when my mother and I did not get along, since my Grandma died when I was 8, my Aunt D is the one I feel understands me. She doesn't judge having been through a lot of the same hardships, and she is always a shoulder to cry on when you feel like life is kicking your butt. I lived with her when I needed to get to know myself, I took care of her when she was low on health, and since birth I have been her only Yannameister. She has always helped me when I needed her and she was always the cool aunt that got exactly how you feel. For a few years though our nights went from staying up as late as possible, drinking coffee talking about life, and having fun all the time to having her in bed because of unbelievable headaches, putting a pillow under her head when she had a seizure, and praying constantly that by the time I could go to New York she was going to be there and be better. She was diagnosed with a tumor and then it changed to two tumors and now she is about to finally be able to have the brain surgery that she has needed for a very long time. My Uncle Jim has made a site dedicated to donating for her surgery and to help their family get through, I'm asking you that even if you don't give money that you please read their story and give your prayers. There is never too many prayers for her, she needs all the help she can get.
Thank you for reading.
